We have strived to become accomplished potters able to give a pot life and good form which allows it function in ones home as a treasured piece to be used daily and admired for its quiet beauty. We use local hand processed materials including local granite, limestone, wood ash and red clays to create warm glazes that invite your touch. We culminate our working cycle with the firing of our 30 foot wood kiln which lasts for several days followed by several more days of cooling. Our kiln is fired with salvaged wood from a number of local sawmills hopefully ending up with a mix of pine and hardwood. When I meet one of my pots being used it's a huge compliment and rewarding. I make pots because I love to, it centers me and connects my heart, mind and hands in a marriage that I find fulfilling.
